Soil Test Analysis
Soil tests are an incredible tool to develop a basis of understanding about the on-hand soil fertility. However, further information is necessary, such as the plant availability of tested nutrients. Many soil testers don’t provide individual recommendations or emphasize the importance of proper nutrient ratios. Soil tests aren’t a guarantee of what you’re working with, but they are a great place to start. If you’re struggling how to practically apply your test results, look no further.

Plant sap analyses have been touted as the best method to gain a snapshot of plant nutrition. Nutrients identified in soil or plant tissue tests can include non-plant available nutrients, but plant sap analyses show what nutrients are currently detectable in the plant sap. We plan to provide testing for the 2024 growing season for the Kenai Peninsula.
